The 100 degree weather is here, my dress code for these temps is something easy and light.  When I check the weather and actually see 3 digits, I am not at all excited honestly! So in order to remain cool, I'll stick with my summer dress code requirements to get me through! I am looking forward to lounging around by the pool though!!

Summery print, bright colors, playful silhouette -- I am so much more inclined to fill my closet with these ladylike shaped dresses versus form-fitting ones, now a days. They are so much more flirty and fun if you ask me!

This billowy yet irregular shaped dress, is the exact reason why I own it in two colors.  The cut and style made this dress that more special to me.

My favorite print, hands down, is leopard.  I buy things just because they are leopard - from a leopard snuggie, leopard slippers, leopard tweezers, leopard make up bag to leopard phone case - I love leopard anything.  So it came as no surprise that my sister named her Love, Cortnie leopard bag, 'Ashleigh'.  It also was a no brainer when I teamed up with Necessary Clothing, that I selected these high-waisted beauties.

As long as I have lived in Columbia, I have never seen this lake (we have many lakes!) so it was only right to stop and take pics! I own so many white tee's and tanks you can only imagine what my summer wardrobe looks like, but my way of dressing up a basic tee/tank is accessorize, accessorize, accessorize!

Does anyone else draw crowds when randomly taking photos? When taking these photos, a guy literally stopped in his car and watched the entire thing then asked if we we're shooting for a calendar because he wanted to buy one.  Any interesting stories you want to share?

There is a story behind this dress - I spotted this dress and sadly to my dismay it was sold out in my size.  I immediately contacted ASOS to see if or when this item would be restocked because they are normally good at refilling items, but was told that would not be happening this time.  So I continued to check the website throughout the next couple of days and all of the sizes were quickly selling SO I settled on another size because I had to have and had my Grandmother take it in for me.   Satisfied! Anyone go through these things? I know I am not alone in this!

I find that I am becoming more of a "domestic" person -- on Friday, one of my girlfriends asked me if I had any plans for the weekend.  My response - no, relaxing and searching around for a good recipe to bake or cook something new.  The perfect weekend for me is a low key one filled with movies, relaxation and good food. I look forward to cooking morning breakfasts and brunch for me and the bf.  It's the little things that make me happy.
